Buttermilk Chocolate Cake

Mix:
2 C flour
2 C sugar

Bring to a boil:
1 C water
2 sq. chocolate
2 sticks butter

Mix:
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 t vanilla
1/2 C Mayfield buttermilk

Icing:
1 sq. chocolate
1 stick butter
6 T Mayfield milk
1 box powdered sugar
 

Mix hot mixture with flour and sugar. Add buttermilk mixture and pour into greased pan. Bake at 350º for 30 min.

Icing:
Heat first three ingredients together. Remove from heat. Blend in powdered sugar until smooth. Put on top of cool cake.

A wonderful moist cake that everyone enjoys with Mayfield ice cream.
