Holiday Tres Leches Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 yellow cake mix with pudding
  • SOAKING LIQUID:
  • 1 cup Mayfield DairyPure milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup rum (or to taste)
  • TOPPING:
  • Whipped cream
  • 1 bag shredded coconut (dried and toasted)
  • Optional: macadamia nuts, cherries or seasonal berries

Directions

Bake cake as directed on package. Allow cake to cool, and poke holes through the entire cake with a fork. Combine soaking liquid and pour over cake. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Top cake with whipped cream, shredded coconut and optional items, if desired.
